About Winnipeg Wildlife Control

I started trapping since I was a was a child, over 30 years ago.

The family business was manufacturing animal traps and I have been around the wildlife control industry since 1999, when I attended my 1st real trapping trade show.

We started doing animal damage control in 2005 and we were fortunate enough to have access to the most up to date tools for humanely trapping wildlife in urban environments.

Over the years we’ve made a ton of contacts with wildlife control officers in the US and Canada to learn about the animal damage control industry.

As the business owner, I now consider myself a wildlife control specialist, but like any other profession, there is always continuous learning needed with changing structures, new laws, animals adapting, and new tools coming out.

This is an extremely challenging and dangerous industry dealing with unpredictable animals that can be potentially sick.

Wildlife Control Operators are trained and should be treated as professionals. Home and business owners should leave ALL wildlife situations up to the professionals to deal with.

Our services

Wildlife Control Services offers a complete professional solution to your wildlife or bird problem.

Here at Wildlife Control Services we deal with all rodents, wildlife, birds, bats and bees.

We believe in solving your nuisance wildlife problem in a non-chemical way.

Wildlife Control in an urban environment can be very tricky, especially dealing with neighbours, children, pets, health issues like allergies, and city or municipal laws. There are a few ways to deal with problem wildlife.

    • The most common way is to live trap the problem animal and remove it from the building or yard site.
    • Another way is to exclude the problem animal or bird with exclusion devices such as one way doors, repairs to entry points, animal fences, etc. With exclusion, this can also be used as a preventative way to deal with potential future problems.
    • Lastly we can use non chemical deterrents to sustain a nuisance wildlife presence. We use natural products applied in a proper manner to deter animals from wanting to keep coming back.
    • Finally, Wildlife Control Services offers a repair option for the damage that occurred from the problem animal or bird.

Please note: We are not a general contractor, so larger jobs might be considered, they may be sub contracted out to experienced contractors approved by Wildlife Control Services.

Wildlife Control Services must and will abide by all laws set by Manitoba Conservation, The City of Winnipeg and any Municipal Laws that may be relevant.
